My Blu had to have a TPLO with Dr. Jacobson. I am SO impressed with him and his team. Blu was able to get in quickly for the procedure, things were explained very well, I was given clear step by step instructions on recovery and rehabilitation and best of all, Blu was comfortable and healed remarkably well. I had a lot of anxiety about the procedure (as anesthesia always carries a risk) and at the time I was subsequently dealing with my horse recovering from being impaled and my 6 year old dog who just died from lymphoma. I never felt belittled by staff, despite my emotional side coming out. In fact, they even sent me photos while Blu stayed overnight for recovery. The whole staff are kind, professional and empathetic and I am so grateful to them all. Thank you!!!!

I thought my dog had had a stroke. Anyone that knows me, knows that my Blue is extra special and why. I sent a long rambling letter on a Sunday night (my vet is here in Nevada) about how I needed a second opinion and some direction and insight. I WAS A HOT MESS) I heard back from them Monday morning....and there we are. I can't even begin to give Dr. Jacobson and his staff enough praise, and I'm an out of towner! So thankful....

Referred here by our local vet for surgery for our English Bulldog. Excellent staff. Lola took a treat from the vet tech and she's NEVER taken a treat at a Vet's office in her 8 years. Cost was a big concern for us and they were reasonable compared to Blue Pearl in DSM and ISU Vet Med in Ames. Wish they were closer to us, we would love them as a regular vet.
